Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join our remote workforce. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in managing financial records and preparing detailed reports. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately record everyday financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Oversee emails, adhere to deadlines, and manage various office-related tasks.
- Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k contributions, and bank accounts monthly.
- Monitor financial transactions and generate insightful reports.
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable efficiently.
- Handle check processing with precision.
- Maintain ledgers and ensure a comprehensive understanding of financial records.
- Collaborate with accountants as necessary.
- Manage monthly payroll utilizing accounting software.
- Organize and maintain financial records through proper filing, data entry, and transaction documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong foundation in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities.
- High accuracy and attention to detail in all financial tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of one year of proven bookkeeping experience.
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
